Inspiration

“Golden Days” represents a grandfather sharing a special day with his grandson. It is a perfect golden moment, and only later in life will the boy fully realize and appreciate this time spent with his grandfather. Perhaps one day he can share a similar “golden day” with his own grandson.

This sculpture was commissioned by the Golden Family of Longmont, Colorado.  The grandfather depicted is the founder of a miningl company famous for donating land for public parks. The sculpture represents 5 generations of the Golden Family and their long standing tradition of preserving their environment and wildlife.
